By joining the GlobalForce community, you acknowledge that you’re becoming part of a community based on respect, compassion and reverence, as well as a willingness to learn, grow and contribute.
We want you to get the most out of your membership in the GlobalForce community, and that means you need to help others do the same. How? By engaging others with an open mind and an open heart. By listening and communicating, not attacking and criticizing. By always following the Golden Rule, and by gently reminding others to do the same if disagreements come up.
Here are our community guidelines:
- Be your best.
We mean this, and in every way. When you post a comment, speak honestly, respectfully and from your heart. Before you post a response, take a deep breath, realize you’re speaking to other human beings, and offer a responsible reaction. By striving daily to show the best “you,” you’ll inspire others to do so too. - Be you.
That means no pretending to be somebody else in posts. No creating multiple profiles so you can play nasty without personal repercussions. No stealing other people’s words, images or videos. Spam not, lest ye be spammed. Basically, be nice. - Be responsible.
How? By always acting in the best interest of the GlobalForce community. That means using your membership here to truly make a difference, not to promote scams, dubious get-rich-quick schemes or other foolishness that proliferates on the Internet. Let’s be better than that. Let’s always act with integrity.
Finally, always remember the Golden Rule.
We’ve said it before, but we’ll say it again here: Treat others as you would like to be treated. Jesus said it. And, in slightly different words, so did Hillel. And Mohammed. And Confucius. Many of humanity’s greatest teachers understood the value of the Golden Rule. We ask that you – that all members of the GlobalForce community – aim to do the same.
